Happy New Year, Troop 719 families!
Weβre excited to kick off 2026 with new adventures, service opportunities, and leadership growth. Thank you to everyone who helped make our fall and holiday events such a success β weβre looking forward to another great year together.

Scout Ski Day

Scouts will hit the slopes for a fun winter outing! Please plan for the following estimated costs:
Lift Ticket: $80
Travel Expenses: ~$20
Food: ~$20
Estimated Total Cost: $120 per Scout
What to Pack:
Breakfast for the van ride
Drinks and snacks for travelLunch will be purchased at the ski area unless otherwise communicated
Additional details, including location, gear recommendations, and RSVP instructions, will be shared soon. Please watch for sign-ups so we can finalize planning and transportation.
Parent Meeting

Parents are invited to attend a dedicated meeting to discuss upcoming troop activities, fundraising, and ways to support our Scouts throughout the year. More information will be sent as the date approaches.
Pine Needle Sales Fundraiser β Coming Soon!
Our Pine Needle Sales Fundraiser begins in February and is our largest fundraiser of the year. Funds raised directly support troop activities, camping trips, equipment, and program enhancements.

Safety Moment: Winter & Sun Safety
Even in cold weather, sun exposure can be a concern β especially during outdoor activities like hiking or skiing.
Scouts should remember to:
Dress in layers (avoid cotton)
Stay dry and hydrated
Wear sunscreen and lip balm
Use sunglasses or eye protection when needed
Cold temperatures donβt eliminate sun risk β being prepared keeps everyone safe and comfortable.
Scoutmasterβs Minute
A new year brings new opportunities to grow. Scouting reminds us that leadership, service, and character are built through everyday choices. As we begin 2026, letβs challenge ourselves to live the Scout Oath and Law β not just at meetings and campouts, but in all areas of life.
